History and Tradition
 Florian sweet factories are located in one of the most beautiful part of France : The Côte d’Azur.
Our confectionneries perpetuate a long standing tradition : we know how to change into sweets, the most delicious fruits and lovely flowers of the area.
We welcome visitors from the whole world, and show them how to prepare these delightful specialities of the South of France : Acid drops with a taste of Provence, flower and citrus fruit marmelades, crystallized flowers, home made chocolates, glazed fruits, three chocolates orangettes...
Free visits, led by professional guides are available in five languages. After the visit you will be able to taste our specialities and buy the one you prefer at factory prices.
Started in 1949, the Confiserie Florian of "les Gorges du Loup" is beautifully located between the torrent of les Gorges du Loup and the mountains just behind Grasse.
Tastefully decorated with local furniture of the 17th and 18th century, the Confiserie Florian has married tradition, refinement and taste.
The quality of our products has been duly rewarded in 1972 with the attribution of the Golden Cup of the "French Good Taste".
 Encouraged by this flourishing success, and after having purchase the well known brand Florian, the Confiserie Florian of the Old Nice opened in 1974 in the harbour area in Nice.
This is where the previous cholaterie Florian was located, which was most well known by the Niçois and the famous painter Matisse.
Opening hours : Free guided visits every day, including Sundays and Public Holidays. – From 9 to 12 and from 14 to 18h30.
The purchase room in Pont du Loup is opened during lunch time from February to October.
